Laurie Colbert is a Toronto filmmaker and recent graduate of the resident director program at the Canadian Film Centre in Toronto. She made her directorial debut in 1992 with Thank God I’m a Lesbian. Along with Dominique Cardona, she released their most recent collaboration, Finn’s Girl, in 2007. It has since won numerous awards.
